A mum has sparked an interesting debate on social media, after claiming her kids don’t mind her smoking marijuana – as they know they’ll get McDonald’s when she gets the munchies.
Caitlin Fladager is a mum-of-two from Vancouver in Canada, where smoking weed for recreational purposes is completely legal, but that doesn’t stop everyone from having an opinion about it.
The 27-year-old recently took to Instagram, where she shared a clip of herself an her son, joking that he’d been waiting for her to smoke some weed as he knew it would be the only time she’d fancy the fast food.
In the background, Cassie’s Me & U played while the little boy mouthed the lyrics: “I was waiting for you to tell me you were ready.”
“When you’ve been waiting for your mom to [leaf and smoking emojis] so she would want to order McDonald’s too,” she wrote alongside the clip.
Caitlin later confessed that after smoking cannabis is the ” only time I actually want McDonald’s,” so you can see why her kids might be keen.
One follower commented: “Hahaha my kids wait and fully take advantage when it’s munchie time,” while another joked: “Lol, they are calculated little beasts.”
A third wrote: “I love how you post about this, it eases my anxiety about being a mom so much.”
Caitlin often receives criticism online for being so open about smoking marijuana while her kids are at home, however she’s spoken candidly about suffering with poor mental health and how weed can dramatically ease her symptoms.
